METTEX 1- WEAR RESISTANCE

METTEX 1 Improves the basic surface characteristics of metals, such as hardness, wear resistance, toughness and smoothness. It is used primarily to enhance the wear resistance on the surfaces of lower-grade metal products, such as pressure vessels, oil cylinders and measuring tools. According to the specific application, the coating thickness can range from 0.5 to 60 micrometers. The thickness of plate deposits can be closely controlled. Frequently mismatched parts can be plated to the desired size without being re-machined.

For wear resistance, METTEX 1 is 10% better than chromium plating, 50% better than premium alloyed steel, 60% better than 1045 steel, and 80% better than cast iron.
